Mr Bodart, an Australian originally from Belgium, opened his master franchise at the end of 2006, with his own sales outlet in Sydney. He has worked on adapting European recipes to the Australian palate, borrowing from Asian, Anglo-Saxon, European and even world influences. The feeling created by his Master Franchise means Waffle Factory is poised to extend from its home country to the Antipodes.
The Australian franchise is currently being developed and sales outlets will open in 2009.
